Beautiful travel destination Saat Taal

Saat-taal is located in the beautiful Kumaon region of North India. It is about 295 kilometers from Delhi and 33 kilometers from Kathgodam. It is a very serene and quirt place with a lot of lakes near by. This adds to the natural beauty of the place. Saat-taal can be described as the synonym of scenery, sunshine, serenity and solitude. It a pl;ace that turns an ordinary person into a natural poet. It`s a place located "Far from the madding crowd".

The best part about this place is you are far away from your mobile, and internet.
Once you reach the place you have to find a camping place. Even if you have to spend the night without electricity, you would find this as a typical holiday experience that you would cherish in your memories. One interesting thing is that camping costs include meals, kayaking and trekking. Of the seven lakes at Saat-taal, Hanuman-taal, Bhiyun-taal and Sukha-taal are seasonal, filling up when the monsoon is at its peak. The Sukha-taal is a delightful lake where you can also view a exiting waterfall. This place attracts anyone and everyone. The beautiful sight of the waterfall, sound of the water gurgling all appears incredible to you and you wont feel like leaving the place. The waterfall seems to come up out of nowhere; apparently it`s an underground spring that bursts out. In the deep forest, the tree cover is very thick and it appears like an umbrella which blocks the sunlight. Among all the taals in the Lake District, Saat-taal is the excellent one. Most of the lakes in Saat-taal are named after the characters from the Ramayana. The names of the lakes here are Ram, Sita and Laxman etc. Interestingly these lakes are interconnected. Garud-taal is another interesting place. This is a place filled with myths and legends. These myths and legends gives place a mystical aura. There is a belief that this place is hunted. May be the silence of the place one feels so. Anyway the place is thrilling and exiting. The Laxman-taal, Ram-taal and Sita-taal are the major attractions of the place. You feel that you yourself are one of the characters from the Ramayana when you are at this place. It is an interesting place where you can spend your holidays lively and happily.
