Adventures enthusiasts are always in search of something which makes them feel near to nature. Valley of Flower is one of the places where every nature would like to visit. Word famous mountaineer Frank Smith was trying to reach Kamet Hill with a group but they forgot the way to Kamet and reached to another Valley BHYUNDAR, they were astonished as soon as they entered in the valley. They saw heavenly beauty in this valley. This valley is at a height of approximately 16700 feet. When he returned back he wrote a book “Valley of Flowers”. He has mentioned some 300 different varieties of flowers in this valley.
Valley of Flowers is approximately 14 KMs from Gobindghat, which is near to Badrinath. Valley of Flowers is now reserved as National Park in India. The area of entire valley is approximately 90 KMs. Best time to visit this valley is the month of July and August. Till May this area is covered with snow and in the month of June the snow melts and the flowers start popping out.
In this valley various kinds of flowers appear during this season the best once are “BrahmKamal, Buransh, Poppy, Rosy, Virginea, Ligujeria, Sexifega, Sasuria Ovelata, hetrifillem etc.
